British Lavender Arucana

British Lavender Arucana are a stunning light lavender gray with fluffy earmuffs dew to this they cant see very well so can be a bit flighty they are on the RBST (Rare Breed Survival Trust) rare breeds list and there are very few of them. These birds are not only great backyard birds as they are hardy but also have a great resistance to allmost all comman poultry-related diseases. these birds lay lovely medium blue, green eggs witch runs right through the hole thickness of the eggs witch is a unique feature and are great layers. 

White Silkies

White Silkies are without a doubt the cutest things you will ever see looking just like a massive fluffy pom-pom, dew to there feathers they cant fly so make great garden chickens but they need cover as they do not have the waterproof feathers that other birds do. The key to knowing if a Silkie is pure is that they should have 5 toes insted of the usual 4. These birds are known for there amazing mothering skills aswell as there kind friendly natures. These birds are easy to tame making them very popular. they lay lovely small cream eggs but don't dismiss the eggs as they are extremely tasty as we fine they produce almost the same amount of yoke as normal eggs but less white.

Ayami Cemani

This buetifull Ayam Cemani are referd to as the Lambogis of the poultry world and are seen as a lucky charm. This birds look like plain black birds but transform in the light to stunning iridecent. Colours flicker in the light though greens, perpuls and blues. These birds are inteligent, gental and docile birds if given some love and time they will sit on your lap quite happerly even the cockbirds. They are grait layers laying a medium to small light pink fesh colourd egg nearly every day these birds do not lay black eggs this is not true but it is true that there intire bodys are black from head to toe internal organs and all. Cemani birds are verry rare but are not on the RBST watch lists. The Cemani birds like to fly up in to trees or on perchis dew to there ancesters natrule habitat being the gungle. These birds make grait family pets as are so easy to taim and train.

Cream Legbar

Cream Legbars were initially made by pure accident when Michael Pease was trying to improve the gold legbars by crossing some hens with a White Leghorn cock creating cream birds.  then Professor Punnett madted his Cream Araucans witch were blue egg layers with Michael Pease's birds in scientific curiosity producing the breed that we know now. These birds get up to weights between ....  and .... There known for the capacity to lay beautiful blue, green or olive green eggs laying around 180 to 200 a year. Cream Legbars are a slender and very elegant breed the males have cream necks, salmon chests and grey barred bodies as well as a small feathered crest behind the comb. Females have cream necks, salmon chests and grey barred bodies as well as a small feathered crest behind the comb. This breed is an active breed and a frugal eater it is unusual for them to go broody. some so called legbars do not fulfil the breeds stander because they have lost the dilute cream gene. The most amazing thing about this bread is that they are alto sexing as when they hatch females have distinctive dark and light stripes down their bodies where the males have a lighter all over colour and a distinctive yellow spot on their heads. This allows breeders to be more efficient and selecting the females they need rather than rasing unnecessary amounts of cockerels. This birds are resisted on the RBST as they are quite rare. 

Cayuga Ducks

Cayuga Ducks got there name from Lake Cayuga in New York State. they are believed to be a descendent of the the wild duck (Anas rubripes). this breed is known for its multipurpose use. it is a heavy duck female get up to weights of 3.2kg and males of 3.6kg making them grate table duck. They also lay very well laying between 100-150 per year. there eggs are quite unique as at the bargaining of each season they lay eggs with a black deposit on them this can be washed of as the laying season goes on they slowly begin to  torn to white at the end of the season.  Cayugas have black feet, bills and feathers although there feathers are covered in a iridescent colour ranging from greens to purples. They are the most exquisite ducks to look at . there known for there gentle nature and generally easy gowning so make grate pond ducks also they cant fly very well dew to there long, broad breast and deep body build there carriage is only slightly elevated. There necks should always have a nice graceful curve. This ducks are on the RBST as they are very few numbers of them within the UK.

Silver Campine

Silver Campin originated from the northern part of Belgium and were very similar to Braekel breed. These birds weight between ... and .... They are commonly used for egg laying laying around 180 medium white eggs per year they have large youcks and less egg wight  than normal eggs. although these birds are known for there eggs they are more commonly used for poultry shows. there are two main colours there are the gold Campine and the silver. they have white feathered necks to the solder that slowly fades in to a pencilled feathering both males and females have the same feting there plumage looks much like zebra stripes. the males are known as "hen-feathered" meaning they have the same feathers as a hen would in the neck, saddle and tail area. They are very active birds extremely inquisitive however they can be very flighty and hardly ever go broody. These birds are on the RBST and are streamly rare

Manx Loaghtan (Ovis aries)

Manx Loaghtan have been grazing the slopes and uplands of the Iles of Man for generations.Manx are one of the group of Northern short-tailed sheep.   The ewes weigh about 40kg  and the rams about 55kg they have lean low-cholesterol meat the breed is slow growing making the meat have a more distinctive flavor.  So is often sent to slaughter as hogget or mutton but can be done as lab if wanted smaller joints of meat.  If the meat is hung properly its creates this beautiful sweet and rich flavor making it a delicacy. The sheep main use if for conservation grazing as the breed thrives on rough grazing and is a grate active browser making it grate for conservation as it doesn't just graze one spot. There wool is used forknitware as it is streamline hard warring the rich mooring colours makings it high in demand. (Staple length 8-13cm. Fleece weight 1.5kg. Quality 44s-48s.) The ewes make grate mothers and can be cross bread to produce larger labs. When a ram is selected make sure it will not course lambing difficulty for the ewe. Although the breed dose have very few lambing difficulty. the ewes can have labs up to  13 to 14 years of age lambing percentages range from 130 to 170% depending on management.  The Manx ram can be used on commercial ewes to make a easy first  lambing. Manx are long legged, fine boned breed that can have two horn, four horns and some times even six. They have moorit (brown) fleece witch over a short paired of time it tuns to a light brown dew to the sun bleaching the outer layer as well as brown legs and face.  The Manx is known to be a very hardy breed  being able to savive in harsh conditions they requar minimal additional feed through out the year. they have a good level of resistance agents fly-strike and footrot as well as a good inbuilt resistance to gastro-intestinal worms.  There are fewer than 1,500 registered breeding female in the UK putting them on the RBST list of rare breed sheep.

Gloucestershire old spot (Sus scrofa domesticus)

These english pigs  originated in the Berkeley Valley of Gloucester. Thay are known for there intelligence and  docility. They can reach between 227kg and 272kg. These pigs have distictive black spots  to be clast as a pedery they must have atleast 1 spot.  the mouthers merturnerty skills means they can rase large litters.

Cocko Maran

Cuckoo Marans  are a bread of chicken form Marans in the region of west France. The local  feral chicken. Cocks can way up to 3.6kg and hens at 3.2kg. These Cuckoo Maran's are the outstanding original traditinal farm house birds. The cockerels are chunky with immaculate bard patterning this bird is dual perpose so good for laying and eating if so dezired. The hens have lovely dark bared striped feather patterning whitch rangis from crisp white to jet black. Once again, they are big chunky birds with a grait nature. They produce brown Larg to EX eggs  we can’t fault them on their capacity to lay its phenomenal. They sit well and are extremely protective over young but have a lovely gentle nature when not protecting their young. Over all our best all rounder.
